So I'm heading out for cocktails and needing to freshen up and THERE IS NOT A SINGLE LIPSTICK IN MY PURSE.

I always wondered about lipstick. I mean, really. Why do women use it? Mascara, I can understand. There is a theory that it makes the pupils dilate, and pupil dilation has been shown to be a "mating call" for humans. But red lips? HELP! :-)

i'm more of a warm pink kind of girl than red. i can look kind of washed out without it. probably some psychological value too
