bugsy's having surgery tomorrow. he's getting a fatty tumor on his side removed and his teeth cleaned. there is concern that there will be complications with the anistetic (sp?) because of his diabities (sp?). and if he doesn't have his teeth cleaned an infection could spread to his heart. so it's one risk or the other. either way he might die

I hope that everything went well today, Andy. I don't think you are stupid (pick the negative adjective of your choice) for loving a pet. It is difficult to lose something that has been a constant throughout much of your life.
