I recently met up with a highschool friend to watch In Good Company starring Topher Grace, Scarlet Johansen, and Dennis Quaid. Surprisingly enough, the movie was not as corny as I'd imagined it to be, but was a very delightful light-hearted comedy with well-written lines and excellent comic timing. i watched beauty and the beast the other day, and during "be our guest" i just sat there with the biggest smile on my face. i'm super glad i grew up with the classics. i often ask myself what happened to the good disney films, but i think it's mostly that they've run out of fairy tales to "disney-fy" and they can't create their own story very well because all the story people are at pixar.
