I just wanted to let you all know that I'll be voting against John Roberts in the upcoming election because...what? Oh--dammit. Well, I just have one thing to say about him anyway--he's not really that funny. definitely not too late for the freshman issue. if you can get something in by the 14th, that'd still be enough time for liz and nick to edit it.

I worry about this version. It would have to go above and beyond the Colin Firth version to impress me, and being a "Hollywood" version...I don't know if it will make it.

Really? You didn't think 2046 was that good? I think it's one of those movies that has to just sit and be digested very slowly. It's not something that smacks you in the face with its awesomeness, but after a while, it just sinks in. At least in my opinion ... I just didn't have a response to it for a few days.
