Let this be your epiphany. I know how you feel and that's why I've been trying to fix this very sentiment in my own life for a good while. I think I've made quite a bit of progress, too, and you'll know when you have. Be unabashed, unreserved and unplanned; if nothing else, you'll develop a good sense of humor about yourself and almost always get a better perspective on things through the eyes of the others you allow yourself to get to know better.
