I'm reading Snow Crash, by Neal Stephenson, currently, and really enjoying it. Up next is Saturday by Ian McEwan and then Housekeeping, by Marilynne Robinson. Following those will be some order of Money by Martin Amis, Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy, Passage to India by EM Forster and Midnight's Children by Salman Rushdie

Is Blood Meridian any good? I haven't read any Cormac McCarthy, but I remember someone mentioning something about a sinister albino in that book.
