Scientists across nation start crying and go back to playing with their stem cells.

One of my favorite current players, Rafael Palmeiro, tested positive for steroids today.

That sucks for a lot of reasons--for him, for the Baltimore Orioles, and for my childhood visions of baseball as this heroic and pristine contest of talent and grit.
