Wow. This is really excellent. I love the counterpoint of Sick Boy and Diane, and the sex is hot (as always).

This produced feelings of conflict for me. I think I am so used to viewing the character of Sick Boy as such an unflinching figure of cold masculinity that it is really strange for me to read about him in such an explicit act of homosexuality. It feels wrong somehow. Its probably just that my first perception of his character was so utterly heterosexual that the concept is hard to gasp. I do love the way you captured the manipulative aspect of his character though. The silent battle between him and Dianne, now that is vintage Simon. Do you mind me asking, are you gay? I just wondered if a straight man could be so open minded as to write such a steamy gay sex scene. I'd be impressed. xx

This is brilliant! It's the first trainspotting fanfiction I've seen that involves Diane. I love the comparison and head-to-head between Diane and Sick Boy- I'd never noticed before that they're actually very similar in some ways! You should write more on Trainspotting- I only just joined this forum (I little too late I gather, as nobody seems to use it anymore).
