A new convenience store, "Trolly Market," was just built half a block away from my house. It's quite a nice place, complete with walk-in beer cooler, and its close proximity will save me from walking 4 blocks to Lombardy Market

I wholeheardtedly agree with you dude. It's rather disrespectful to just ASSUME that because someone has a certain name, they go by its associated nickname. It's just common courtesy that you don't give someone you don't know a nickname unless they tell you to. My dad's name is Christopher, he never ever goes by Chris, and absolutely hates it when telemarketers and such think they're going to get on his good side by calling him Chris.
