[A slight reassuring smile crosses the young man's face as he attempts to sit up again, reaching up to gently push the hand of his companion away.]

It's all right, Noelle. The wings absorbed most of the shock. I only got knocked around a little.

[And now he's looking around him.]

If you're sure...

[She glances around a little as well. The area is completely unfamiliar, though. Certainly not anywhere near Eldrant... had they crashed?]

Do you remember what happened?

Of course I am. [Because he too is a member of Class M. There's no use worrying when he's going to be perfectly fine.]

[Ginji pulls himself up the rest of the way, but he's not crazy enough to try walking around just yet. If only one of the machines was around they could check the maps and the navigational system and use them to figure out where they are.]

Well... Guy was the one who told us to escape in the Albiore II if things got too dangerous. Everyone else headed further in, and we waited for a while. It sounded like there was gunfire coming from the elevator shaft, and then... I don't know for sure what happened after that. ...I don't honestly remember the change of clothes either. [He gestures slowly with one arm.]

[Well, those are voices he hadn't heard in a while. He almost didn't even recognize Ginji's voice in particular, having only heard it once in a while back on Auldrant. So he's quiet for a moment, unbelieving, before he stands up looks down at the journal.]

Noelle? Ginji?

...Luke? Thank goodness. [The voice isn't too difficult to place, but he's having trouble locating its source. He compensates by talking a little louder and keeps looking around - slowly - hopefully Luke can at least hear him.]

Are the others with you? I thought I heard gunshots coming from further in, and...

[Noelle, for her part, recognizes the voice immediately, and is already looking around, trying to pin the source. Ginji's already pretty much addressed her own most important concerns.]

Yes, we're here. Are you all right?

[That suddenly makes Luke very concerned about their safety. It might've been from back in Auldrant, but... he knows there are people who use guns here, too. So, he frowns as he leans in.]

I'm okay, but... What about you two? Do you still hear gunshots?

[Ginji peers down into the journal. So this book acts as a multi-frequency communicator of some sort? He's never seen anything quite like it before.] Thanks for your concern, but we should be fine.

[Since Noelle seems all right. As for himself, he's pretty confident it's nothing some rest won't heal. Unlike his machine... It's not unusual for people to have heard of the Albiore since it's been heavily publicized by fon machine buffs, but it doesn't hurt to ask since this nice lady brought it up.]

You wouldn't happen to know our general location, would you? We've been waiting on our friends, but it looks like we got turned around somewhere along the way. Our machines are missing too.

[Glancing around to see what Ginji was staring at, Noelle is a bit surprised by the book as well, and the person in it. They look... vaguely familiar, perhaps, though she can't quite pinpoint why, and decides to put the matter aside for now.

Really, though, Ginji covered just about everything she would have asked, so she waits quietly for a reply. She hopes the rest of their supplies are there too... it's cold out here, with only her New Feather dress on, and she can imagine Ginji must be feeling it worse.]
