I don't know how anyone is supposed to be able to use these clothes cleaning contraptions. It's bad enough I had to toss them all in there myself, but now all my white shirts are pink. What bloody good is that going to do me, running around in pink? And it's no use lecturing the damn thing. At least when it was Merlin, he would get marginally ( Read more... )

You must have put your clothes into the machine all at once. If I am not mistaken, you must separate colors and whites. [Living with a manservant Shirou taught her lots of things too. Not that she knows she wears the same outfit all the time.]

Separate them? What on earth for? They're all dirty.

I know, it made little sense when I first learned it, however it seems the machines have some flaws. If you wash them together the colors leak from the garments and blend. White becomes pink for that reason.

I should have expected as much, trusting work like that to some loud and noisy box.

I am seriously out of practice with the canon so forgive the fail. derpwithdestiny December 20 2011, 06:49:19 UTC
Maybe you ought to give pink a try. It might suit you better than you think.

[brb SPRINGING INTO ACTION to find you some new clothes anyway. In fact he'll probably run into him at the clothes shop. Would Arthur like a leather jacket...]

[He won't even dignify that with a response. Because he's EXPECTING Merlin to show up at the clothing store.]

There you are. I was thinking, since you seem to like pink so much, you could do with some new clothes yourself.

[And here he tosses a wadded up pink dress in Merlin's face.]

Thank you kind sir. derpwithdestiny December 20 2011, 07:53:26 UTC
[Oh, and it's his size and everything, how thoughtful of you, Your Highness. :|]

...Thanks. Um, I'll...hold on to this, then. [Aaaand setting it aside.] You know, I can help you with your laundry.

[He just likes to do his part to keep you happy, Merlin.]

You were suppose to be doing it. But you haven't been doing it. I can't very well go out with stains on my shirt, can I?

[Arthur currently is holding up a red T-Shirt that reads "Keep staring, maybe I'll do a trick". He doesn't seem all that impressed.]

This hardly counts as fashion.

I think I find myself agreeing with you. That's just obnoxious.

This, though? [ she lifts up a fine rugby top. ] Here. Try it.

[Damn these people thinking they can throw stuff at him. 8|]

[He catches it and twists it around so he can look at it. He's not crazy about the stripes, but he does like the emblem there. It seems royal, in a way.]

What's the significant of five?

[Everyone would be in a snappy mood if they had a klutz of a servant like Merlin around.]

I'm not interested in pulling one off. I liked what I had before.

ALSO it's been like forever since I reviewed this series. FAIR WARNING. It's still fair if it's late halfwitch December 20 2011, 18:22:14 UTC
[ You sure about that? She's had her fair share of klutzy bffs too. Valerie, Valerie, Valerie. :( ]

Really? Because from the sound of things you couldn't wait to pull them off. ... get it? [ :D? and never mind that this is in direct contradiction to what she was saying before. what is flow anyway?

also. yes. terrible. don't judge me!!

And don't mind as she comes to near-immediately regret what she just said. So, as an aside to herself: ] ... Wow, kind of regretting that one now.

No, it's not magic. [Good grief, if it was, he'd have to burn the place down!] Our captors are just very, very efficient at keeping clothing in stock.

So instead of jailers, we've got tailors? I think I can live with that.

That's one way of putting it. But it makes us all look a bit bad to have it like that.
