Two hours ago I was in a gunfight. Of that I am certain.

You are in a place called Luceti. You have been pulled from your world and brought here by a group called the Malnosso. Everyone was given wings upon arrival, you'll want to be careful with them as even losing feathers can cause pain and discomfort.
There's a guide explaining everything that can be found here, but right now the important thing is to get you somewhere comfortable. What do your surroundings look like?

Luceti?
[She frowns, brow furrowed in thought. The name didn’t register anywhere in her memory. She looks up and around, tensing at the mention of being taken.]

[She gives rueful laugh and shake of her head before she turns to study her surroundings. After a moment she stands and peers off to the side.]
I think…it’s a heavily wooded area. I hear water near bye. Possibly a small stream, maybe a lake? I’m not certain.

Could be the river if it's running. You should be able to follow them upstream into the village. I'll keep talking on this end.

[Light filters through branches across her face and shoulders as she makes her way closer to what indeed was a stream. At the question her expression eases somewhat.]
Ah, no. Not a researcher. Surgeon; if the wings are as vulnerable as you say they are it would be prudent to know how to put them right, yes? I'd rather not be ignorant of how they function, if they function at all. Though they do seem to move of their own accord well enough.
[She snorts and starts to follow the little river upstream, comforted by the knowledge of civilization relatively nearby.]
Would it be rude to ask the name of my guide Mademoiselle....?
