Oh. & Jason Fucking Dohring.

The addendum to that post is that I've also been spending far too much time watching Moonlight, which apparently was a short-lived CBS show about vampires from last year or the year before. It has that guy who's going to be in a romcom with J. Lo (about artificial insemination? it sounds terrible), Sophia Myles (whose only movie I can remember is ( Read more... )

I watched that a while back... started watching because of Jason Dohring (and vampires), continued watching because of Sophia Myles (who was in one of my favorite episodes of Doctor Who, so I got really excited and yelled "Hey, it's Madame de Pompadour!" when I saw her on the show). Also maybe continued watching for the vampires. Then again, if I wanted an angsty, vampire detective show, I suppose I could always go watch Angel, which I still haven't done (professed love for Joss Whedon shows aside)

I think the show might have been more successful if it had waited another couple of years to come out. It was a little early on trying to ride the Pop Culture Vampire Revival Wave.

Oh look, I have a vampire icon!

I never understood the David Borneaz hype until I saw early Buffy. Maybe one day I'll watch Angel, but it's not high on my list.

One thing I like about Moonlight is its noir vibe, but I wish it had a cooler aesthetic. But, maybe I'm transferring my early-VM-missing to it.

And, I mean, it's MARSHALL from Alias! Which automatically makes me want to like it.

Good luck with the crazy this week!

Is it weird that I always watched Buffy for the stories, not the eye candy? I mean, I like white guys, but Angel just never did it for me.

I think initially, Buffy's spunkiness and the humor were my favorite parts of the show. Then, she got angsty, and everyone starting making silly decisions, and I started to enjoy it less. What kept me watching at that point was the UST. So, the romance was secondary until the rest started to go downhill; then, I was just hoping for a Happily Ever After.

As for Angel, I didn't expect to find him sexy, but I did! Mysteries.

What TV have you watched for the eye candy?
