It was funny, how just a few deaths could change the world for Tyki. He had sworn to cast aside his desires to live as human. He had separated from his hobo friends, for both his good and theirs. That should have been enough for the Earl, right? Apparently it wasn't, however. He had always wavered in loyalty, that much was true. He was Noah, yes. But he was also not as loyal as he'd like to be. Or as loyal as the rest of the family wanted, for that matter. He did as he was told, but watched the world in jealousy. He craved his past life, the time where he could come and go as he pleased. When he could care for who he wished. He just could not give up the past. And when the Earl noticed that, something clearly had to be done. And quickly. So Cyril had gleefully dispatched of the filthy vagrants at the Earl's order.
“It's for your good, Tyki-dear.”
“Tyki-pet doesn't need them anymore~ ♥”
It was assumed that their deaths would please Tyki, or at least make things easier on him. That he'd have one less thing to hold him back, one less bother to worry about. But it was the straw that snapped the camel's back, so to say. He had finally had enough. Their faces, especially Eaze's, haunted him. And he found himself turning further from the bloodshed, at the loss of a child he had loved like a little brother. And that haunting memory made it impossible to work with the family. The grudge he had against them grew. And finally one day, he could pretend no more. His goals were his own now. And even if he still had the urges that the other Noahs had, he had moved past that. He would see the war end. But his family would not be victorious. And as part of Allen Walker's new group, he would not be alone.
He was a Noah, yes. But he was not a monster, and he would have nothing more to do with the family.
