The Sign on the Microwave

Please do not put whole eggs in the microwave.

They will blow up.

It also has a picture of a happy egg and a blown up egg between those two lines. Could you imagine a sign that would make you want to microwave whole eggs any more than that one does?

Actually, if you have the knack, it is fairly easy to microwave an egg without blowing it up. The trick is to do it in stages, rather than all in on go. Works for me!

Okay, reading that back I maybe sound like some kind of crazy egg-microwaving freak...

I microwaved an egg in my high school common room. My whole year got banned from using the kitchen for two weeks. Totally worth it, though!
