This spring I thought that I had a lovely schedule after I managed to get into two classes who's professors came highly recommended. Well, I'm back on campus and pretty much settled. I went to a solar car work session this afternoon/evening and we ended up playing with carbon fiber a bit. The problem is that I think I might be mildly allergic to something in the carbon fiber. And carbon fiber is the main component of a solar car.

I have a tendency to come up with ideas that I have great intentions of starting if I ever have about two weeks with absolutely nothing better to do. (Yeah. Right.) Less than one week until I get to go home. YAY! My dad is flying in on Saturday to drive back with me since 11 hours is a bit long to be driving alone and expect to stay awake. This past weekend I met my mom and sister in New York City. There was no way I was going to try to drive there and flights were expensive so I took the train. On the way to New York the train was 50 minutes late because they couldn't get clearance to start down the track. Today was incredibly fun and yet slightly miserable. This past weekend I went with a few other interns to Montreal and for the record it was quite the adventure. Of the eight of us that went 4 were from Porto Rico, two took only Spanish in high school, and I never talked to the other kid. So, I had the honor of knowing the most French of anyone.
