yes but to never let the past be the past is not health either...there is such a thing as moving on..i never said forget the past..i just want people to move on

From what I know of you....I think you understand where I'm coming from in my argument against this practice. It's unrealistic to think you can separate yourself from the experiences and feelings of your past without it being denial. You are denying yourself those old sensations- despite whether you believe it is for the best.
i don't want to deny it...i just wanna get over it...the stuff people won't let go of happened 4 to 5 yrs ago...there is a time to move on and let things slide...so what if my bf cheated on one of his ex's because she was already accusing him of cheating and would threaten to kill herself everytime he tried to leave her...that was 5 yrs ago...if anything they should be watching me since i cheated on my ex right b4 mike...
