I am so so SO afraid of doing this. But you have me intrigued, and I am compelled to follow suit. ;) And... as far as does it get any better than this? Well... http://www.geocities.com/weekend_game/lyrics.htm

;) Hard to stave of cynicism, isn't it? But we're all fighting the same demon. Good luck finding the time you crave.

The really bad thing is when you know you have to do the things you dislike (like studying for the two exams I have on the 29th and 30th) so you can't go out and do anything fun, but you dislike the other thigns too much to do them either, so you just sort of float in a limbo of not terribly initeresting but not terribly taxing things in between the two.

I need to get out of uni.

Seems to me that being in the lab is the big thing here. The rest of the "bad stuff" adds up to not much. So how much is the career path you are following worth the pain of the requisite lab time?
