I got Trevier to watch Ghostbusters 2 with me the other day since I bought it recently in a superawesome pack with GB1 and special features galore....it included episodes of the old TV show.... written by the guy who created Babylon5 XDD

Yeah, he wrote for a bunch of cartoons in the 80's... The Real Ghostbusters, He-Man, She-Ra, etc. He wrote a bunch of Murder, She Wrote episodes as well.

His wife also wrote an episode or two of The Real Ghostbusters.

I didn't realize he also wrote for The Real Ghostbusters, let alone his wife.. interesting.

I've used "Murder, She Wrote" as a way to familiarize older people with just who JMS is. My mom for example. She used to watch "Murder.." all the time. So it was useful to point out that this show i was (ok, am) so fanatical about was written by the same fellow. Though he's also written for "Walker, Texas Ranger", so not everything has been golden hehe ;]

I expect sir trevier will be more than interested in this b5 news, assuming he didn't already know. As for GB, one day i'll get around to downloading those movies. Always liked them. Or at least renting the dvd's so i can make a copy of them (now that i've stopped being lazy, and bothered to fiddle with dvd shrink).
