Questions for the friends:

If you were downtown, and you wanted to eat vegetarian or atleast non-meat... and you could order anything (that's not too extravegant) what would you buy?!?

Also how much would you be willing to spend on said item?

If I was at Bombay Cafe I would order the Vegetable Sizzler. It's a huge amount of food, it's reasonable inexpensive and it's delicioius.

That should be "reasonably inexpensive". I think it's about $8.99, maybe less.

but what would you want to have if a place existed that didn't, in other words, not based on what's there now, if a new place came in, what would you want them to cook?

Falafel burger/sandwich. Yum. I love falafel. I think about six bucks is reasonable.
Stir-fry with tofu and brown rice. I'd pay up to like $8 depending on the size.
Are you trying to start a veg restaurant?

I already thought about the Stir-fry and tofu.
The falafel idea is a really good idea, and there's lots of ways to fix it.

And no, not thinking about starting a "restaurant' per say, but I do have a similiar idea I'm thinking of, that realistically I'll never do, but still want to look up.
