Mall

So my big project for this semester is going to be a 208,000 square foot "green" mall. It will also have a day care center, remote tv studio, telemarketing center, and a nature center, and probably a restaurant... on top of the regular retail spaces, vignettes, store front design, service center, restrooms, offices, etc. etc. Fun times

My ideas:

- Vitamin/herb shop
- Metaphysical shop
- Eco-friendly clothing store (natural and organic fibers, eco-friendly dyes and pigments)
- Free trade organic coffee shop
- Organic/vegan bakery (every mall has a cookie store)
- Baby store (eco-friendly furniture, clothing, toys, supplies like baby wipes)
- Local artist co-op

That's just off the top of my head. I'll post again later if I think of anything else. :)

can't forget the music stores. an indie record store would be AWESOME. the artists in the store would support things like green companies, some of the profit from all the albums bought there would go to charities and so on.

and you cannot go wrong with book stores that support recycled items and do the same thing as the aforementioned music store. :)
