It's been a funny old time for me lately. I mentioned before about some life changing problems I have had with my partner of the last nearly 20 years. These problems have had the strangest effect on me. I'm usually someone who writes stuff all the time...just for myself, really...little intersting ( at least to me ) bits and bobs, letters, emails

I'm so sorry you've had such a difficult time recently.

The love you and your three children have for each other is something wonderful. I've always thought from your posts what a loving family you are. I have tears in my eyes.

Thank you. It has been difficult, and I have this odd feeling of being suspended or submerged, with my old life just out of my reach, and I hope that feeling will eventually go away, whatever the outcome for Michael and me.
My children are, quite literally, keeping me sane. They are a terrific wee bunch of people. The difficulties which have occured with Michael have magnified the closeness that the children and I share, and I am more grateful than ever for that.

...oops...sorry. I was going to say how absolutely irresistible little Alexander is. He is beautiful. Babies can be so exhausting, can't they ? I mean really, really knackering. But so worth every minute really. His little face ! Awwww...
