Thanks for sharing this article. The author, Kyle, appeared in 2 episodes of Queer Television when he started out on T, and I always wonder how far he and the other guy featured in the special have gotten on the road of transition.
seriously, don't stress too much. they are such different procedures, with completely different recoveries. The first 2-3 days suck, but only because of the gas. You don't have incisional pain and all the trauma that goes along with opening the belly like that.

I had a look at the article at transhealth, since I just had a total hysto and oophorectomy about three weeks ago. Honestly, even though I didn't get the LAVH I'd signed on for, it wasn't that bad. The more you can get up and moving after surgery the faster you'll bounce back
