I just heard one of my neighbors reprimanding his kid for swearing.
"you don't fucking say words like that. I don't ever want to hear you say anything like that. Look at him and tell him that you're sorry. Say it: [there's a pause here after each word for the very young child to repeat it] 'I'm. Sorry. That. I. Said. That. Word. To. You. I. Will. Not. Say. That. Word. Again. If. I. Do. You. Can. Whup. My. Ass.' Don't you every fucking let me hear you say those words again. I don't want you cussing. If you do it again, I'll fuck you up. Ok? [woman - the mother(?) says thanks, presumably to the child for apologizing. There's another adult male chuckling along like this is all really bloody funny] Ok, that's right. No cussing, ok? Gi'me five!"
[I walked away from my door at this point, hearing other generic "we're best buds" type crap being directed at the kid.]
Seriously. I don't know how old the kid is, but from the voice, he's maybe 6. People just really piss me off sometimes.
