HOW COULD YOU NOT NOTICE ??? (contrast with Angel) Spike fights with Buffy, not near Buffy, which is exactly what Buffy asked Satsu way back in The Long Way Home.
Anyway, two more issues and if Spike dies I'm out.

And NO i didn't even notice that!! can't believe I missed it. damn - I miss my crack-pot theory (...though I do have this whole other one about how Angel is Spike and Spike is Angel but it really is me just being completely ridiculous and thinking of the one thing that would get the fandom and crazy angry as the comic powers that be assure us we're going to be ;))
