The snow piled on, heavily. His eyes were bleak, as if he didn’t understand what exactly was happening. Reality shot though his whole body-
He was straight. No way he would like him. Oh, him of all people he would fall for.
He picked up his racket and swung it around aimlessly. He ended up with a warning from Sanada, but he didn’t care. Yukimura looked concerned - but stayed back. He would let him sort out his own problems, for once.
He wondered what was wrong with him. Every time he tried to let his mind loose, it would always end up thinking about him. It almost drove him crazy.
And he could not stop staring at him. It was a wonder he was still good friends with the guy - this was just so typically illogical.
A hand patted him on the shoulder, only to offer him advice. “Yagyuu, why can’t you just ask him?”
He shook his head, knowing it was too difficult for him. He cursed himself - it was just so simple. But he just couldn't bare himself to do it.
The object of his affections was kissing a girl, them both sharing a scarf and Niou hugging her tight. Oh, how he longed to be in her place.
When Niou’s lips left the girl, he gazed at the tennis courts. All he could see was a brown haired teen hugging his knees and crying.
Niou had never seen him cry before.
