Oh, just who Lash had wanted to see. After the talk with Sheeana, she had decided to pay Luis a visit, and what do you know! The man himself was at the tavern. It was also too bad Lash wasn't used to seeing people that drunk (Black Hole wasn't huge on alcohol or anything fun), so she just assumed he was happy with his night.

"Well it's not for tonight, genius," she began, flopping on a wooden seat nearby. "I just heard that you were the go-to man to see to help me figure out my powers. What's an amiga?" She waited for his reaction before talking again.

He seemed to actually have taken the "genius" comment sincerely. "Well, you may be talking to the right guy. I'm a biologist and I head up the Science Department around here... but that depends what kind of powers you are talking about."

"Ah, losientos, amiga is just 'friend.' I tend to slip back to my native tongue when I've had a bit to drink." And when he thought it would make him look charming.

"Eh, it's hard to explain," she answered, scratching the back of her head. "Back at home, we'd call them Commanding Officer Powers, but I'm not sure if it's just internal powers, or magic or what. Basically I can concentrate and suddenly infantry units under my command or on my side can move in forests and mountains as if they were in open fields, and seem harder to hit. I could go into more detail but I don't think a tarvern is the best place for that." She grinned.

"Biologist and Science Department huh? I guess I should pop there more often anyway. Name's Lash."

Luis immediately struck out the definition "magic" from the one Lash gave him and thought it sounded a lot like... um. Well. No idea. But it sounded interesting.

"It's nice to meet you," he said. "So you have these powers or... or whatever they are and you would like me to do what with them?"
