Beastboy gave a little jump and sprang forward to wave in cheerful greeting, "Sup dude! I'm Beastboy who're you?" His standard greeting ignoring that Lash was a girl.

"I'm not a dude, I'm Lash!" she replied crossing her arms. Beastboy was an odd name but eh, who was she to judge (so she did anyway). "First there's a guy who's all blue with green eyes and now your green."

"Lash...cool name!" Beastboy complimented and then addressed his green skin, "Yeah I figure I probably fit in with the whole space theme, I'm a human but I was bit by this monkey when I was a kid, long story short it turned me green and would have killed me but my dad saved me with SCIENCE and now I can do this!"

And after that hyper condensed version of his dramatic origin story he turned into the first animal that came to mind, an adorable kitten.

As she listened to his condensed origin story Lash couldn't help but find it unbelievable. Really. Bitten by a money turned you green?

But then he said the magic word. Science. It was one of Lash's favorite words along with explosions and death rays.

And then he turned into a kitten. That was adorable. Even if Lash didn't too adorable too much, but after the creatures in the sensoriums, she couldn't help but let out a small "oooh" before clasping her mouth and giving him a wave of his hand.

"That's neat!" she finally managed to say. "So being bitten by a monkey allows you to turn into a kitten?"

Maybe he could...cuddle the Ohm to death or something.

Beastboy shifted back with a bow, "And that's only three, I got an entire animal kingdom to pick from living or extinct, even a couple aliens in there, those are a little harder to pull off for long though." He boasted bathing in the praise and admiration.

"Awesome!" Beastboy cheered his eyes lighting up with excitement, "My buddy Cy back home used to do that stuff all the time, he'd build cars and subs then convert the sub to a jet and then the jet to a spaceship and the spaceship to a giant robot that needed the car and a motorcycle to transform and kick my butt when I was mutated into a giant monster once..." He was rambling again.
