Oh, gross. And a double gross with the fact that he was hearing voices in his head. Really, who had even come up with this? Slime was not exactly the best way to greet someone. It wasn't everyday you had someone give you a vague answer while making you feel like someone had kakked all over you.

"Whatever. Someone just get me some clothes."

And he had to open his big mouth. Oh well, he was given orders and it wasn't stupid so he could follow that. Whatever was going on would be discovered in a bit. A short walk and a short stop, as it were. Okay, that wasn't all that comforting.

"My best guess is that happens somewhere along the way to figuring out what this loving Stacy wants with us."

So far, further exploration away from the direction she and Faiza had chosen to walk up was providing this shadow clone of Sakura with information she could do precious little with. Countless numbers of these strange pods, containing persons she couldn't make out. And very occasionally, a voice or two linked to a person who'd been dumped as unceremoniously nude and goop-covered into this humid cavern as she and Faiza had been.

She stood at a short distance away, for all intents and purposes appearing to be wrapped in a generic, if generously sized, bathing towel. "Outside of the obvious, are you unharmed?"

Sheesh, finally a human voice as opposed to something stuck in his head. He turned his head to look, not all that concerned about his current appearance. And immediately whistled. Hey, he never said he was a good person. "Perfectly fine. I'm not going to get hurt by something like this."

She refrained -- barely -- from a bitten off retort oncew it processed that he'd just whistled at her. It had to be some sort of side effect of stress... probably. Hopefully. Maybe she should have bothered with a more complex henge, but it was too late to bother over the details now.

"Something like this?" She raised an eyebrow, looking to the left and then slowly panning her gaze upward. "You find yourself in situations like this often?" Or are you just that laid back about this entire thing?

An answer like that really deserved a dose of sarcasm. Anyone who voluntarily subjected themselves to this mess frequently were a few fuses short of a beam canon. "Every morning, in fact. Nothing like a good snot bath in the morning to guarantee a refreshing day."

And then he shot her a wink...just in case she didn't get the hint that he was kidding.

Sakura snorted and rolled her eyes, even if she found herself blushing lightly in embarrassment. "Yeah, a stupid question, I know." Still could be possible that for someone, this is normal.

Vindicating her own question to herself didn't exactly leave her feeling better, but it did make her choose to not focus on it for long. "Though for a certain definition of refreshing..."

"I'm certain some aliens out there enjoy the occasional swim in their own bodily fluids." To emphasize his point, he pulled off a string up goop and tried to get it to unstick from his fingers.

"If that was self produced, I didn't need to know." Her lips twitched up into a half-smile, though she knew he wasn't saying as much. "I haven't seen anything that counts as useful for getting it off, other than doing what you can with your hands. The hair's hopeless for now."

She took a step back, shaking her head to emphasize the point. Considering her hair largely didn't move, it was so plastered to her skull, hopeless probably translated as the joys of looking perpetually drowned in alien fluids. Odd, considering she appeared to be wearing a towel -- she didn't look any more toweled off than he did.

Speaking of hair....he peered up at his own. Shit, it was all down and NOT the way it was supposed to be. It may have been goopy but he ran his hands straight back through, trying to get it where it belongs. Oh yeah, the girl.

"Heh, you'll have to forgive me then. I'm not exactly looking my best right now. Maybe later, I'll just have to properly introduce myself."

"I don't think any of us are." No one really made the slicked down, goo-covered 'look' work for themselves. (At least no one she'd seen yet.) "Think you can settle on an improper introduction for now?"

He offers up a gooey hand but your choice whether to take it or not. "Dearka Elsman, at your service."

Nothing to do about the goo. Sakura took his hand, offering him a firm shake. "Sakura Haruno," she responded in kind, "Medic, among other things. Nice to meet you... as much as nice applies to the current circumstances."

In her mind, not very, and yet pleasantries were well ingrained.

"Medic, huh? I'm a pilot but who knows if they even have mobile suits around here. If the situation is right, I might end up visiting you pretty often." Though that didn't mention that the chance of surviving an injury after being shot down in a mobile suit was pretty low, if numbers told any tale.

"Which would either make you extremely lucky, or extremely clumsy." There were other options of course, but if one was inclined to generalities (and she was at the moment) those were the most likely. "Better figure out the specifics when we find whoever it is Stacy was talking about. The 'others' meant to give us the details on this situation."
