Not wanting to scare whoever was inside, she didn't bother to keep quiet, yelling out. "Hey!"
Finally spying Kaylee in the cargo bay, she gave the other woman a wave and then somewhat childishly stepped on the rails to her footsteps echo with a giggle.
"She's not too bad for a ship," which was probably a good form of praise if it came from Lash. "Pretty big too!" Okay seriously her heart was beating from all the technology and it as so darn gosh cool but like she'd tell her THAT.

For the moment a distraction was nice. It was impossible to mistake Lash's voice coming up the ramp, and Kaylee couldn't help but laugh.
"Hey yourself," she replied, turning away from the boxes she had just rearranged and gave Lash a big smile. She nodded around the cargo bay. "You like her? Ain't half as roomy as some, but she's enough for me 'n mine."

Seriously if Lash had a ship like this she would call it grand and huge and not roomy. She'd also have installed a thousand lasers on it.

And Serenity, however small and bug-like, was still a thousand times better that any Alliance cruiser. Take that, bunch of purple bellies.
