Sakura had held herself back at large, looking through the new faces for ones that might be familiar. She wasn't happy about it, she knew that much. Seeing a familiar face, even if just from one of the allied countries and not from Konoha itself, would have been nice ( ... )

"Oh...I'm Miranda Lotto," she said, taking Sakura's hand, and blinking at the other's appearance. She had thought Allen's hair was strange, but not even he had pink hair! "Thank you, um...have you been here long?" she asked, trying to not stare too hard at the hair...

"Several months," she said, blinking as she realized what the other woman was staring at. Sakura had left her headband around her neck, much more in Hinata's style for this. The fact it showed the allied symbol instead of Konoha's leaf was meant to be a bridge to anyone unexpected showing up.

So far it wasn't necessary. "Doesn't feel that long, but it has to have been at least three or so. Don't see pink a lot where you're from?" She smiled, doing her best to keep her tone light and her expression amused.

"I...I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to stare, I just...well, yes I have seen pin before, just not for...well...not for anyone's hair. But it's very nice hair!" she added at the end, quickly. She didn't want to make the girl feel bad!

Sakura found herself smiling apologetically, holding her hands up, palm facing forward, in an appeasing gesture. "It's fine, really! It's natural to want to stare at something you haven't seen before, it's not a bad thing."

She brushed a tendril of that very pink hair back behind her ear. "And thank you." For the compliment, if she didn't explicitly say so. She looked Miranda over, another question coming to mind. "Is there anything I can help you with?"

That question had nothing at all to do with her curiosity at what appeared to be yet another kind of uniform. Sakura wondered how many people came from collective forces back home.

Unknowingly, Miranda was going to reply to Sakura's curiosity about that uniform. "Would you happen to know if any of my friends are here?" she asked, worried. "They...they should have uniforms like mine, or ones that are similar but in white. I've been looking, but I can't seem to find any of them..."

"Ah..." Sakura went through her mental catalog, shaking her head slowly as she did so. "I don't recall seeing anyone else in a uniform like yours, no. It doesn't mean they aren't here, or that they haven't woken up before. It's possible that whatever clothing they found in the lockers happened to not be anything like your standard uniform."

She smiled, feeling like she should apologize. "What're their names?"

"Oh," Miranda said, her face falling. "Um...Allen Walker, Lenalee Lee, Lavi, Komui Lee, Arystar Krory, Kanda Yuu..." Miranda continued, reeling off more names.

All names that meant nothing to Sakura, and didn't register as familiar. "I don't know if I've heard of anyone going by those names in the last few months, I'm sorry." Which was all too much like what Sakura had learned, past the shock and everything else after waking up alien goo'd.

"I can help keep an eye out for them in here. It's possible they came out of the pods today as well, just from a different area or a slightly different time than you."

Miranda nodded, feeling numb. "Th...thank you," she said, grateful even though she was disappointed that there was still no sign of them.

"You're welcome." She smiled again, if at heart she felt it was the least she could do. Part of this woman's hesitance reminded her of Hinata... it was odd finding that kind of familiarity around here. "I wish I could do more, as it is... If there's anything else, let me know."

"I will," Miranda promised. "Thank you."
