After everyone and all of their ships were properly loaded the Quarter had launched successfully. The journey from Stacy to the Trojan Asteroid field trailing NiSaris took several hours, but they managed to approach the field with the people of the nearby world being none the wiser

Billy had barely had the time to complete the upgrades and send out a brief instruction file on the Zords' new flight controls before the mission announcement came down. With an Ohm field this size, it was no wonder he'd been ordered to work fast

The voice that responded to Billy's pep talk? Not the one he wanted to hear.

"Is that the best you can do, Billy?" Zedd responded as something massive came into view from the side of the Quarter:

Serpentera.

"We're in the fight of our lives, not a football game!" he snapped. "Everyone, OBLITERATE THEM! Leave NOTHING LEFT!"

If Lord Zedd could currently see through Jamie's helmet, he would be treated to the hrmph face to end all hrmph faces right about now. Fortunately, the expression is well and truly masked at the moment.

The Highlander doesn't bother responding to Zedd, instead shoving his own unease at the thought of going into space aside. It's a new type of fighting, but fighting nevertheless, and that's never been something he's been afraid to do.

"Not can. We will do this. Rangers, let's show them what we've got, aye?"

Andy just... stared over at Zedd, before turning back towards Billy. He just needed to remember that the big massive thing was on their side for right now.

This was going to be so awesome. Lash was nearly jumping in her seat because of space and giant robots and also space and also giant serpents and also fighting evil dudes, but mostly, space.

"They are going to go splat all over, tee hee hee!"

"Lash, I know you're insane, but could you please tone it down a bit?" Ron said, hopping into his seat.

"We weren't intending to let them go with a lecture," Billy pouted, an odd expression on his face. Of COURSE they were going to get rid of the Ohm! Nothing else would make sense. They had no way to communicate regardless.

He silently took his seat, dismayed by his lack of leadership ability. It'd be better on the battlefield. It would have to be, he'd designed this.

"Engaging. Soon as we're cleared for takeoff, pull up."

Nobody could see it, but Kate was rolling her eyes at Zedd. His ego put several villains back home to shame. Some heroes back home were used to going out in space, but she wasn't one of them. She used her sharp memory to remember to controls of the wings for the Zord so there was that at least. Still this was going to be daunting.

"Guys, let's just focus and work together. Ignore Lord Blast A Lot's screaming out there."

"Aye," agrees Jamie, even as he double checks everything is in order. Things that he has difficulty understanding when out of morph seem to come so much easier, and it takes practically no time at all to ensure that the systems are online.

"We've got more important things to worry about than yon windbag over there. Looks like we're ready when they are."

"To the infinity of space!" the perhaps slightly insane (thanks Ron, she totally heard that) wunderkind yelled out.

"Let's go kick some Ohm ass!"

Andy just shook his head, making sure he had everything ready for when they finally launched the Megazord.
