How about photographic proof of people running around as a studly teenage demon? Because Zetta has been doing that and he knows it.

"An action pose?" He wanted her to be Naruto, essentially. Sakura rolled her eyes, then slid into a ready stance for sparring. Close enough to action, right?

"Now, back to the camera, look over your shoulder, think sexy thoughts, and smile."

He was, admittedly, a little curious to see how relaxed about this whole process he can get her.

Sakura was downright suspicious, slowly turning around. She looked more like she was wondering who she had to kill as she looked back over her shoulder, slowly smiling. It changed her expression so she looked more like she was suspecting she might have to punch somebody in the face. "Like this?"

"...I don't think you're getting into this," Zetta said, a bit startled. "Let yourself go! Relax, have fun! It's okay if you think it's a little silly, if you're enjoying yourself it'll show."

"It just seems kind of pointless," she admitted, turning back around. "Photographs were always more about commemorating things. I don't really need to commemorate myself by myself." She did attempt another smile at that, this time sheepish. "It is my camera. If I want to see myself make silly faces, I can always use a mirror, right?"

Which Zetta caught with another quick picture. Ha!

"Sure, but you tell me what the pictures say. If you can look at them and forget they're you." He offered the camera back. "You want to commemorate, you can't just point it at 'em and demand people say cheese. You've got to bring out parts of them they wouldn't normally show a camera!"

Sakura made another face, barely avoiding sticking her tongue out at Zetta in a charming display of adult sensibility. Taking the camera back, part of her wanted to ask what the point of that kind of provocation was. "Who says you're polite enough to warn them in the first place?" She winked, if it was a perfectly legitimate question.

Candid shots and shinobi stalking tendencies aside.

"I get the feeling I should've gone through those stored photos more," Zetta said. "I could use some blackmail material to make things go smoothly around here."

"No way," Saukra said with a snort, "The only blackmail anything on this camera will be good for is the kind that mildly embarrasses some people, nothing more."

Goodness, she hadn't been stalking people for the express purpose of gaining blackmail worthy material, if it was certainly could have been a goal. If she were a more invasive person.

"Don't suppose you'd consider getting some?" Not that the Overlord had any real expectations of her agreeing.

"...If it helps, any, when this whole mess is over I'm probably gonna spend some time tracking down some of the worlds when we get them back. Just for curiosity's sake!" Before she got any ideas that he actually cared about any of the people in this damn ship! "It's not THAT big a cosmos to an Overlord."

"Not with this," she said, amiable enough. This was a pleasure tool, not a work tool. At least for now, and she'd prefer to keep it that way.

"That's supposed to help with the blackmail?" Sakura found herself raising an eyebrow at that particular logic. "Sounds like more of a way to justify the means for the sake of the end. Not that people don't need to concentrate on working together in order to get to anything other than a dead end, but fear, of you, of discovery, isn't usually the best way to unify a group. Not in my experience, at least." Things had a habit of falling apart along the way, since the level of self-interest that came out of being able to be blackmailed didn't always equate into recognizing a greater need over your own.

Then again, who knows? Stranger things have probably worked throughout history.

"Not with the blackmail!" Zetta could get irritated quickly when misunderstood, no matter how at-fault he was for being unclear to begin with. "The whole 'saving memories' thing. There's not gonna be any 'we'll never see each other again' moment, is the point!"

She blinked, straightening subtly. "I'm sorry," she said slowly. "I misunderstood what you meant." Maybe. Sakura wasn't even sure.

It was kind of hilarious that a self-proclaimed Demon Overlord would be looking to help make sure there was no final goodbye for some people. "If saving memories isn't always about being afraid there's going to be some time where you'll never see someone again. Point heard, Overlord." Her salute was brief (and two-fingered; who saluted anyone where she was from?).

Hey! People here interested him! Some of them were fascinating from a demonic perspective! And some of them had some really crappy villains back home who needed to be taught the meaning of the word. Don't judge his motivations!

"Don't get me wrong, it IS good to make some memories worth having on the shop, too." He grinned back at her.

Sakura snorted in amusement. "Glad we both can agree on that much. We'll need those, sooner or later. Probably sooner."
