A Welcome and a Thorough Probing

"I am Councilman Allin An. These are Council Memmbers Orin Calad, Kanner Drayan, asmin Landala, and Bal Valad, respectively."

He gestured to each as he spoke.

"Please, allow us to lead you through the spaceport and to the Scanning Bay, so we can lower our personal anti-contaminant shields. Our sincere apologies for the inconvience but we have rigorous quarantine standards on our planet, to prevent the spread of xenobiological hazards. It's a requirement that all people entering the City are scanned. Then I'll brief the diplomats of your group on our situation, while the rest of you receive a tour of our fine capital city."

"I'll be taking those who are here to negotiate to be briefed on our...unique situation."

Signum quietly passes through at the back of the group. While her personal space is important to her, she knows better than to complain about a simple medical check. Even if it was rather overly thorough and surprisingly primitive; surely this famed world of doctors would have more sanitary means of gathering medical data...

She doesn't mention any of this yet, however, quietly listening to the local Councilors and following their directions. She is curious about the contradictions, but she's more concerned with getting on with the mission.

Kanner had moved on to several others, his request the same. Fate. Kon. Jr. And now, he moved on to Kang, eyeing the tall draconian. "Councilor Kang? You and yours have our gratitude in coming so quickly." He was soft-spoken, still hard to read after delivering this same speech to several others. "It behooves me to ask a small number of you to accompany me before the debriefing begins." He gestured to several others, mostly a loose movement that encompassed Zouichi. "Considering your position within your ship, I'm especially compelled to ask you to come along. There are things related to the debriefing Councilor Allin An will be delivering in a short while that require showing, rather than telling

Hm. Tingly. Ter'thelas did his best not to show that it phased him, and instead smiled indulgently at the group.

"We all tend to be long-winded from time-to-time." Inwardly, he noted the strange repetition of words, explanations, filed it away for use later. If it proved useful, anyhow. He turned to follow his own little group, hands folded neatly behind his back.

Kang frowned slightly. Kanner's words made sense, but something felt off, and he couldn't pinpoint exactly what it was. After a moment, though, he nodded, and moved to join the others.

Doc had hung back watching with interest as everyone was shuffled through being scanned, soaking up the details of the process as much as he could and taking mental notes. The whole thing was fascinating, but that aside it reminded him bizzarely of being patted down for weapons, albeit very very tiny ones.

Once through the scans he followed along with the others that had split off to accompany Allin. He was curious about the whole place, wanted to split in three and get a look at all angles of the world. But, well, first things first. The city would be there when negotiations finished.

"As previously mentioned, I am Orin Calad, and I shall be showing several of you the wonders of our entertainment district." He gestured to Howard, Zedd, Ruffnut, and Signum. "I will take you four, if you do not mind. I must say, you are in for a special treat. I hope the rest of you enjoy your stay." He scarcely waited for a response before he started walking away.

As the councilmen continued to talk, Lash passed her own medical exam, surprisingly not debating it even if a small voice in her mind kept telling her something about this wasn't completely right. She let it pass, spitting out as instructed.

"Tingly."

The task done, she stood waiting on the side, arms crossed, trying her hardest to appear natural as she looked around and tried to figure out everything around them...without making a scene.

"As I was introduced before, I am Bal Valad. The Galilean Capital Healing Centers are a source of pride amongst us," Councilwoman Bal spoke, as she walked up and picked out Hana, Hit Girl, Nanoha and Rory from amongst the remaining crowd. "If it would please the four of you to accompany me, I shall lead you to them for a tour as a demonstration of what we may offer you in return of your aid. May the rest of you enjoy your stay on our planet as well." She politely waited for her group to get together, before leading them out.
