Wait, I'm sorry, let me make sure I have this straight. Don't become friends with you, because some other person likes to cause pain and misery for anyone you're close to, and also designs personal warriors who are defeated by a fist to the sternum.

Is that right.

And when you say subtle mind games, how subtle are we talking? What kinds of things has he done before?

I thought it was fair to issue a warning. The vast majority of the crew doesn't have a personal target painted on their back like I do.

We'd need to put a magic trace on the people involved to detect them. He can manipulate feelings of envy and doubt to cause friends to tear into each other, create evil clones of our friends to fool us into thinking our friends have done horrible things, and even inspire outright hatred with magic when he wants to be direct.

He usually prefers the fastest approach.

It is, and thank you for doing that for all of us.

How exact are these evil clones?

Does he have any talent for patience, if he needs it?

I'd have to say no to the patience issue. He wasn't willing to wait very long for his minions to have a chance to succeed before seizing control himself.

As far as the exact nature of the clones: their physical appearance and powers are identical, enough so that we've been framed for things they did in the past. There might be tells in their behavior if you know the person being cloned well enough, but you'd have to watch carefully.

Powers up to and including trained abilities, not inherent ones?
