Hm... I guess the phantoms weren't nice, but that's probably because they can't pass over. And zombies are only out for living flesh, right? Though we did trespass on the basilisks' home...

I don't know what zombies are, but they probably came from those other monsters that carried crypts on their backs. Yeah, huge rooster-lizard things that are really big! They're not as strong as dragons, though, but that's because dragon hides are tough.
