Scene: Elkhart, Indiana JCPenney or some such store
People: You, your mom, me... shopping for pants for you
You: Mom, I'm going to look in the men's section for pants.
Your mom: Fine.
... you try on pants after a few troublesome comments and decisions about what size to take into the dressing room on the other side of the store.
You, from inside the dressing room: Umm....
I begin laughing, your mom gives me a stern look.
Your mom: Do you need a different size? You probably took the wrong size.
You: No, I just need one of you to unzip them for me.
I think it's the only time your mom and I have laughed together.
