Newbie alert?
Batten down the (squishy?) hatches, there's a newb in your midst!
Hullo there! I, Eri, bring you a new character to torture annoy. This is Topher Brink from the latest in Joss Whedon's cancelled series, Dollhouse. His application is posted up in this journal, but here's a quick rundown in case any of you are as lazy as I am:
Immature, somewhat amoral and an uber!genius, Topher helped improve the technology used by his employer to wipe the personality from an individual, producing an active (you'll meet one later). Having done that, the actives are able to be 'imprinted' with any personality. Ever. Sometimes even multiple personalities, but that's generally a special case.
Point 1 - No, he will not be attempting to wipe any of your characters' personalities.
Point 2 - I am an idiot, aka not a genius. I apologize for the inevitable butchering I will probably do to science D:
Point 3 - Canon puncturing. I hate doing it with a bloody passion, but Topher is a freaking nerd. Essentially, he likely won't say anything to a character, he will boggle in shock and silence: too intimidated to speak up because the only way his mind can rationalize it that they must come from a parallel dimension where HE is the fictional character and they are real. Yeah. If you would, however, LIKE to be fanboy'd, give me a nudge and he will fanboy your face off.
