Well, I figured that I should check in and say hello to everyone back in the states. It's the middle of the day on Saturday, and I just got back to my hotel room after wandering around Nagasaki for a bit

Very likely that the Coke they get is made with real cane sugar rather than with corn syrup as it is practically only in the States as a cost-cutting measure. You can sometimes find Coke in glass bottle six packs here in the States; it's usually the kind made with cane sugar. I'd be interested to know if it tastes the same to you, once you return, as the Coke you're drinking in Japan does.

To that point, I recommend Jones Soda, which is available here in the US, and is made with cane sugar. It's exquisite.

But more importantly, what are you doing in Japan? Clearly we have some catching up to do.
