FTMPride has had a makeover!
Philadelphia, PA -- October 31, 2006
-- FTMPride© has dedicated itself to being an informational and community resource for people in the trans community. In addition to an overall facelift, FTMPride has made a new and improved fully interactive site for people to browse through with ease. The new site will include forums where other Trans folks can network with each other and their supporters, a resource guide for community resources all over the world, a web store to help with donations and profits to keep FTMPride running and to liven up any closet, free web based email, resources for individual sites, FAQ's and an encyclopedia for people to research everything they ever wanted to know.
This new facelift was part of an effort to show users a more functional website that is full of resources to help all Transfolk who may be searching. The website provides support through articles, resources, and education not only for other Transgenders but also for their families, friends and supporters. FTMPride works hard to make sure that people are able to find what they need quickly and efficiently where in the past other have had to search on many different sites. FTMPride's mission statement is as follows: FTMPride is dedicated to creating a sense of support and community and to serving the needs and issues of the FTM and greater transgender community. We provide support and resources for significant others, friends, family and allies. It is our mission to promote pride in gender diversity through support and action within the the greater transgender community and to promote awareness and acceptance of transgender issues through education and outreach.
