Unfortunately, weight charts really don't take... well, a lot of factors into consideration. I'd be fascinated to hear precisely what orifice they did drag the numbers out of.
all the charts seem weird. if you go by BMI, the TOP end of "normal" has me at between 153(5' 7 ") and 158 (5' 8").
my lowest weight in highschool, after 3 months of barely eating due to panic attacks, was 150. my ribs and hips stuck out a bit at that weight.
do you have a link to the body fat % one? i'd be curious to see what that thinks i should be. i know i need to lose weight, but i really don't think i need to get down to 150 to fit in the fat end of "normal".
The problem with that site is that you have to put in a BF goal to get a correlation with weight, and the maximum BF you can enter is 19%...and for women, a good BF percentage is 25%
And yeah, BMI is completely screwed up too, and most health professionals acknowledge that it's a rough tool at best. BMI chart again has me at < 125lbs again, so I think it's based off the same screwed up weight charts.

It *might* be a reasonable weight for a 5" woman (which is the same range on the website, btw), although even that's stretching it.
Unrealistic expectations really aren't going to help the whole national obesity problem =P

I'm pretty sure it's from NIH or some other similar gov't resource-a quick look around the web shows the same range =P

Based on them, I am at minimum about 90 lbs overweight. 90?! Really?
So, yeah, take them with a dump truck of salt....
Find what you feel healthy at, and screw the charts.
