2008 in Pictures

I celebrate myself like no one else celebrates me. Which is good, because such redundancy in addition to the redundancy of these images would be a word whose usage has already become tiresome.( As easy to ignore as the previous time! )

Livejournal sent me e-mail to say that this one's merely obligatory fictional birth date was approaching. That is the first time it notified me of anyone's.

It would appear to have been rather mistier and more slanted in that room than my memory would have it. Odd how the mind plays tricks on us. I also don't quite recall Batman Cossack-dancing a vicious Tintin into submission, which is shame, as it looks to have been quite the spectacle.

I remember the air quality being less than satisfactory at the event. My camera may have been hallucinating.

Tintin contre Batman was mentioned this time, although after selecting that image for use here I myself suddenly doubted whether I had actually used it and had to recheck the page again and it was there. Suspense! The actual comic it appears in suggests that scene is but a dream, a mere creation of Tintin's fear of Batman, alas.

Another titled "uhoh.jpg" was not so fortunate and had to be left out for the sake of accuracy. Fiddle-dee-doo, I have integrity! It is dated may 28 and I have reason to suspect that I substituted "you finny fiend" for it. Historians may debate for centuries before they can agree whether I made the right decision or did not.

Google is very wise.
I also did not send any cards. Although I do not usually send cards so nobody noticed.
I do inhabit the structure at the same address as before, as ever. The government forbids me to travel.
