Humans' feelings are developed 95% through operant conditioning. This is "behavior"
It is not possible for an unborn or newborn child to have "feelings"
What IS a tragedy is when children are born by the millions to unfit parents, foster care, or single parents that just can't give the child what it deserves and has deserved from the time said parent decided to neglegently have un-smart sex.
However, yes it may very well be a painful and confusing, traumatizing experience for the child. We need not embrace abortion as a birth control, but rather use it wisely as a means of protecting those who would have a traumatizing LIFE.
It is my opinion that abortion methods should be researched and refined more into something much less "grusome" (and probably already has been done)
If your dog was in misery, would you not put it to sleep? Such selfishness makes me want to VOMIT.
