Rating: PG~? Except for one line, I don't think anything is really wrong with it.
Notes: Bah! I've been done with these for awhile now, but recently I've gone back and edited or deleted some of them. Why? Because it hints more to the entire group then just these two. I've kept some of them, but a majority I didn't, even if some were cute or true. :/ I don't think these lines stand up to my other ones.
#01 - Walking
Walking was such a...necessity here, back home he had trollies, motorcycles generally anything that didn't involve walking but it was nice though he didn't admit it to have Yuna always there to give him Cure magic when he was close to exhaustion and Auron muttered that he was out of shape.
#02 - Waltz
She'd only known one dance in her life, and that one dance meant everything in to her, even if it was the one to take away her life and unknowingly continue the waltz of death between summoners and Sin.
#03 - Wishes
If he could wish for anything, he wished that that all the people his old man killed would come back alive.
#04 - Wonder
There was such wonder and delight outside of Besaid and she had to admit that greatest wonder was the look of pure happiness she saw on the faces of children that ran to greet her, crying 'She's here! She's here! The Summoner is here!'
#05 - Worry
Lulu was the worrier of the group but Yuna didn't mind, even as the woman she considered an older sister fussed over her appearance and hair before greeting a new temple and Tidus would grin and generally be clueless on what was so important about it.
#06 - Whimsy
Summoners were not suppose to hold onto whimsical dreams of eternal love and soul mates to those who were not to be sacrificed in the end, it was unspoken but when Seymour first saw Tidus and looked to Yuna, he realized for the first time in his life that might not be the case; and that, he didn't like.
#07 - Waste/Wasteland
He had been annoyed, confused and insulted when others told him Zanarkand was nothing more then a giant wasteland; but gazing out at Zanark- no, home he couldn't help but feel sick, confused and sadness as the pyreflies danced.
#08 - Whiskey and Rum
They always wondered what was in that jug Auron carried around on his hip, so one day when the older man had turned his back and with Wakka's hurried whisper of 'hurry!' they soon learned what was in the flask was indeed not water just like Tidus had said.
#09 - War
Machina and magic...many claimed it to be an unforgivable sin that only bred disaster and darkness just like Sin, but in the eyes of Yuna's guardians, it had bred a beautiful young woman who was wiser then beyond her years.
#10 - Weddings
"Lady Yuna, it is time," She was sitting at the window seat at one of the highest towers in Bevelle, watching as they let lose Evrae in hopes of stopping what left she had of family, "Come my Lady."
#11 - Birthday
"What's a...birthday?" Her question had been soft and slightly unsure, her grip tensed slightly as the look on his face changed from shock to a bright grin, as a he grabbed her hand and led her into one of the main establishments of Luca and proceeded to give her a strange thing known as a birthday party.
#12 - Blessing
Auron nudged Tidus, as the younger bit the inside of his cheek and rolled his eyes as Yuna was being blessed by those inside Kilika, finally when the girl bowed one last time, he finally spoke up, "Can we go now?".
#13 - Bias
Ok, so maybe he was a little biased on the summon thing, really he didn't see why Wakka was so into Ifrit when Shiva looked -way- better then Ifrit, one thing he didn't understand though was why Yuna (who rarely was annoyed) knocked him with her staff and Wakka laughed as Lulu just rolled her eyes and Auron stated Yojimbo was better then all.
#14 - Burning
He didn't know how she could stand it and he now knew the reason why being inside the temple in Kilika had been so suffocating; this was the first time she was summoning Ifrit and that thing was literally catching some of the battlefield on fire.
#15 - Breathing
He couldn't breathe in that one moment when Auron told him Sin, the everything they were fighting was his old man and that where ever he went, it followed and the guilt built up inside on whether or not the man she called a second father was indeed her greatest enemy.
#16 - Breaking
They were the only ones they would confide in, around her he showed the serious man he could be, breaking away from the tired face and she'd be the one to make him laugh as she acted in ways previously she was abolished to do.
#17 - Belief
"Just believe in yourself! I know we can defeat Sin without losing her!" He repeated this in his head as Evrae rose into the clear sky.
#18 - Balloon
"H-hey!" He dodged and ran as the Summoner acted without thinking and chased after him, holding a water balloon high and trying to aim for the laughing blonde.
#19 - Balcony
It was on the topmost deck of the airship, the 'balcony' if you could, that while looking up at the stars he kissed her for the first time since Macalania and promised to protect her.
#20 - Bane
As they all sat around what they believed their last fire, he left the group and walked up the small mound behind them and admired the main stars and ruins and reflected that indeed Sin was the bane of his existence not his Old Man.
#21 - Quiet
He was so quiet when he reached out to her for the first time, eyes soft and a smile on his face, as he pulled her hugged her close for the first time.
#22 - Quirks
They all have their quirks, he knows that but when he pulls Yuna close to himself, he wonders if she'll ever truly open up and show hers as well.
#23 - Question
"Do you love him?" The question caught her off guard as she whirled around and came face to face with Seymour, Jyscal ever loyal was at the door locking it, "Do you love him." And she said nothing in return and that silence, with the widening of her surprised eyes was an answer in itself.
#24 - Quarrel
To say Tidus and Seymour didn't like each other was an understatement, Tidus was open about it, denouncing and not liking him from the very start, Seymour just took joy in it and add fuel to the flames all the while making it seem as if he had done nothing wrong until the end as they fought over both the world and a girl.
#25 - Quitting
"This is...horrible, let's stop!" Auron commented that he was acting like a crybaby as they worked the patty fields in the Moonflow, and with a mischievous look (she looked both ways to make sure no one was looking) with a cry, she pushed him into the knee high water and started a mud war, as Lulu tried to get away.
#26 - Jump
Yuna was just below them, after defeating the giant dragon in the sky, the group looked down as he metal cable shot towards the concrete- "Who wants to go first..?" And he jumped without hesitation knowing they couldn't give up now.
#27 - Jester
He had felt like the greatest and biggest fool ever, when inside the Summoner's Sanctum he learned the Truth.
#28 - Jousting
It was fun, she had to admit stopping at an inn for the night instead of camping out and sharing stories around a warm fire pit and sharing stories, well Tidus and Auron sharing stories ranging from blitz, to accidents, to jousting and shoopuff eggs.
#29 - Jewel
She was a tiny jewel, beautiful and glittering in the light but just like a jewel she has hard but still soft enough to chip and she could be chipped away to the very end but still be that still brilliant shining thing that she was.
#30 - Just
With him curled up protectively around her, soft breath touching her check, she realized that it felt just like heaven.
#31 - Smirk
By the end of it all, as they stood on top of the airship entering Sin for the first time and they were visited by the soul of Seymour again, she found the resolve and that deep part of herself where she wanted to wipe that smirk off his face and realize what he had done to not just them but Spira as well.
#32 - Sorrow
Both knew of the sorrow of having to grow up sooner and faster then most, him with the disappearance and his wilting mother, her with losing everything and putting everything in the hands of a corrupt belief.
#33 - Stupidity
He hated that, when the goons Seymour dispatched to defeat them referred to them as foolish humans that couldn't stop their Maester, if only they knew that every time they said that made him work harder, they might have stopped in time to save their lives.
#34 - Serenade
It was weird to see the blitzball sign for victory to be in a religious type organization but it was even weirder to hear the taunt that he knew used by Yevon, the very people the song was meant to taunt.
#35 - Sarcasm
Tidus laughed and Yuna giggled as Rikku sarcastically said she enjoyed the prank they pulled on her.
#36 - Sordid
She had heard about sordid affairs in training when she ventured out for the day, even through the whispered conversations of how summoners quit pilgrimages for love, now with her very body laying on the softest mattress she had ever felt in an inn and with him, lying close to her, a soft snore resting on his lips, she realized nothing was as it seemed and that those old biddies needed to be quiet.
#37 - Soliloquy
The others looked at her with various stages of distress as she seemingly started talking to herself at night but when asked she said she had been talking to Magus Sisters, the others were a little more then relieved to hear it.
#38 - Sojourn
They would be together, even if it was just a short time; Rikku had been right, with Auron it seemed like they truly were retelling and finishing the story of the legendary Grand Summoner Braska and his crazy guardian Jecht, that had irked Tidus to follow in his footsteps and Auron replied that Jecht would be proud anyway.
#39 - Share
She never wanted to share the weight of death with anyone in their party but when Yunalesca told them that she had to choose one to die with her and Lulu put herself forward, she realized losing Lulu was too big a price for this.
#40 - Solitary
At night in the city of lights, he was reach his hand out to the moon and imagine it was trying to hold his hand too; but like she did with the sun on the clear summer days in the coastal village so far away.
#41 - Nowhere
Inside the Farplane, even if the place creeps him out and to see his mother he hadn't seen since before this all happened, he realizes inside the Farplane you are both there, everywhere and nowhere at the same time.
#42 - Neutral
Some wondered if she had gone crazy because of her Al Bhed blood when news of the proclamation broke out, others thought the Al Bhed were spreading nasty rumors and she met all of these head on and said she was neutral- she didn't pick either side and made her own.
#43 - Nuance
He was never a nuance to her even though he felt like one.
#44 - Near
They were close but not overall close, for the record though most wouldn't believe it, the first time he had actually held Yuna as his own was in Bahamut's shrine, before then he had shied away, hoping to keep his feelings far from her.
#45 - Natural
Their attraction was so natural it seemed almost destined from the start.
#46 - Horizon
When Tidus saw her smile for the first time, just for him, he blinked and realized her smile and the warmth he felt could power all the old air ships and have them fly several times horizon to horizon.
#47 - Valiant
He was her valiant knight, the one who stood up for what he believed in and what he loved.
#48 - Virtuous
She was the virtuous princess, the one who's inner strength was stronger then all, she fought for what she believed and what she thought was right.
#49 - Victory
They had their victory, after Tidus confronted his own worst enemy, after fighting Yu Yevon and fighting the very spirits that had had helped them, that had won.
#50 - Defeat
It was a bittersweet win, Seymour was put to Rest, there would be no more Sin and yet, as she stared out into the star field and his fading body enveloped her, she couldn't help but wish a selfish wish just to keep him here, even after she told him thanks for what he had done.
