I ...don't like how school starting in less than a week makes me grouchy, so ...have this instead. Snagged from istne_pieklo.

Pick a trope from this list and provide a fandom/pairing and I'll tell you something about the story I'd write for that combination (i.e. write a snippet from the story or write not!fic or tell you the title and summary for the story I ( Read more... )

LMAO, this is uber-cute! LOL, I imagine Becca would be like: Wow, we've got so much in common! I dated a guy too! (And then they establish that the guy she dated is now dating the guy David dated... XDDDD)

Drunk David doesn't get it, and asks if this is, what, a soap opera?

No, he's really all 'O_______________O'

Sherlock and Moriarty, truth or dare :D

I think that's a very tricky one -- could go both awfully wrong and awfully right. Well, and there's always crack, which I'm alright with, but ... humour has never really been my strongest forte.

I'd really like a dark interpretation of this: with Moriarty consciously using Sherlock's social ignorance and ... arrogance to beat him at this game. I could see him giving Sherlock increasingly 'dark' dares, just to showcase how absolutely not different they are (and maybe hurt John ...)

Ummmmm, yeah. My mind :D

Suzaku and Schneizel, spy AU. :D

I've been going through this a bit with scribblestorm, and I *think* this could go so many ways

*historical --> WWII, Cold War or, maybe, even set during a more unusual time, like the Meiji Era/pre-Meiji Era (...Research :D)

*regular AU in a modern verse: Suzaku is the son of a business man/heir to that company, and Schneizel chief in staff of some company ...and they spy on each other unwittingly/or were sent do so directly

*Mafia verse/coppers/crime: I have always like the spy AU to part of something bigger like, it to be part of a bigger intrigue. Of course, this would be dark and require world-building.

*something in a really AU verse with kingdoms + princes and maybe a fantasy like setting? Or steampunk? I'm all for unusual combos.

*this could also be set in the Geass verse proper, with Suzaku being a spy for Lelouch/Tohdoh/who knows ...

Being pretentious on ffr and seeing you not being pretentious on ffr reminded me that I needed to respond to this post! :D

Ooh, it would be very cool if you and scribbles wrote one of these. I especially think a historical context would be interesting. I also like the idea of Schneizel and Suzaku spying on each other. XD

Geass-verse would be interesting. If Lelouch and Suzaku made amends earlier, then Suzaku totally could have been a double agent!

Haha, don't worry about it -- your viewpoint was perfectly valid :) And, LOL, I'm slow myself.

Hmmmm, I don't want to make any writing promises because I'm currently a bit out of it, what with RL being here, and me just needing to decide what the hell I actually want to do *right* now with my life ... which makes me a bit unfocused =/

(But I do love the idea of the spyverse, and I definitely want to pick up on it *sometime* )

Yeeees, it would but: work, and effort ):

John and Sherlock, pretending to be married.

John finds himself disturbed by it (because he's not *gay* damn it), but Sherlock doesn't really care and, to everyone's surprise, it's not really all that different from their 'unmarried life'.

(Which hammers home the point that Sherlock and John have been married all along.)

(Of course, in your cliche fic, you'd suddenly get all kind of *tension* resulting out of it, or Sherlock insisting they act more coupley, but I really think the sheer irony would be that nothing would change because they already *act* as if they were married, you know?)

The way I picture it is that they have to act like a couple for some case, and in that way Sherlock would be way more coupley than John for the sake of the character.

But yes, they are married. I'm not sure how I feel about CBS turning John into a girl for their new show, Elementary, because I feel it messes with the whole dynamic a bit, but I'm going to watch it and see.

Oh if you mention it that way, then yes -- but a case located somewhere where marriage is legal, and it being something Sherlock would be very *eager* to solve? (And him being freaking out poor John in the process.)

Let me think about that scenario, and I'll get back at you ^^;;

I've had someone -- well, istne_pieklo_ actually - tell me it's good if you watch like an original. But yeah, I can't over the fact that they turned John into a girl (why not turn both of them into women?).

Why are memes more interesting than school? Or at least the impending start date of school.

Because I rarely remember school signifying much other than stress?

I don't really watch SPN, but ...

1) Dean, at first, protests that he isn't cold, and there's no reason for Castiel to get 'closer'.

2) Castiel insists that Dean needs to be protected, so he stays where he is.

3) Dean finally relents, and you get a lot of UST/awkwardness.

I'm ....sorry ;________; I don't really watch SPN ):
