I like the atmosphere of this fic (I think it's usually the first thing I notice in a story because I somehow always end up commenting on that first of all XD). I like the combination of strange warmth in the present (not over the top fluffy, but somehow very sweet in a good way and the Christmas-y bits too) and the angsty tidbits about the past (the "doll" part really got me shivering). I think in a way it's a very touching story. Would love to read more of this verse when you post next. XD

Ohh, atmosphere is one of those things that are very important to me -- something I learnt from Oscar Wilde and Poe, and never forgot to include in my own writings :)

So I'm pleased you noticed those little details.

Warmth is what I was going for -- this was a *Christmas* fic after all. Hmm, the doll part was fun to write, I guess?
