Somehow I always thought the idea of genderbent Light is hot. Don't know why, but there's just something appealing about it. And I always fancied that Misa would adore Light, regardless of gender.
There's a decent amount of Misa/male L, but I don't know if there's any femmeslash around with that pairing. There should be though!
I'm glad you liked the language - since that's what I usually try hardest at. At least, language is really important to me. I'm glad I could be of use!
Hedo-chaaaan why do you make me want to actually get into this fandom? You know, I thought I shipped this pairing before, in all its fucked up glory, but you made me like it even more. I didn't know that could be possible.
I loved the language and the thoughts - I think you know Misa is one of my favorite characters, so I'm glad you gave that insight she has, and the smart side that while might not be like L or Light's, it's definitely there.
Thanks a lot for doing that, seriously. I detest how the fandom thinks of Misa most of the time.
Because this fandom is actually pretty awesome? *bribes* I'm glad this made you ship Misa/Light more - I always thought that Misa would totally go for Light, even if Light were a woman.
I think that Misa just admired Light that /much/. And yes, Misa really, in fucked up, but also very genuine way, loves Light. So much that she doesn't care how Light treats her, as long she can stay by Light's side.
I ADORE Misa. I think she's very smart. Of course she's not L or Light, but she's not as dumb as many fanbrats seem to believe she is. Nor is she a slut or a bitch :/
You're welcome, dear. I think it's a shame that fandom seems to hate Misa as much as it does because she's a really lovely character.
Indeed, maybe it was. Mostly because it seems like a line that you'd pick from some cheesy love song (and as a Jane Austen, fairy-tale loving teenager I was very prone to listening to just these kind of songs *shot*).
Anyhow, I loved writing female Light - she'd be a very sexy kind of character, I think. Not in a "in yer face" kind of way sexy, but coquettish, playful, perhaps? IDK, I loved writing female Light because she'd be the same as canon Light and yet a bit different - because the expectations heaped on her would have been different.
I always saw Misa as devious and accommodating. I think most of fandom considers her a dumb twit or a whore? I think she's neither, really. She was smart enough to use the Death Note quite effective and always made it clear that, though she was pretty and could play with men's heads, not a slut.
But whatever. It seems that fan!brats will just always hate.
I need to your prompt then. Which I haven't forgotten about. I'm just ... uh, suffering from writer's block.
fff *shoots* If you aren't a sap, I don't know who else is. D: It's a cute line, something you don't see these days; probably because of individualism, don't hold me on that. Except in harlequins, but I don't read those so I wouldn't know. Really.
Oh, yes! Light wasn't really stunningly, brilliantly handsome like, say, an idol, but he's got enough charm to make up for it. There's something very subtle about the things that make people want to go near him? Your characterization of a female Light fits that sort of thought.
She was able to use the note without getting caught immediately! Though she isn't smart as, say, Light or L, she's still smart enough to be considered a person not as dumb as "popular" portrayals of her are.
Agh, I am a sap. So much it's embarrassing. But I doubt that surprises anyone. It was a poorly disguised secret anyway. LOLZ, it's a common phrase in German and you do see in harlequins. I'm sure you don't read them, darling. I'm deadly certain of that *snickers*
Oh, he's very charming. I think it's way he just knows how to play with people - he always say the right things? Oh, yes, I think female Light would have been equally charming.
Yes, you do have to give Misa credit for that. I think L and Light were ... um, unique in terms of intelligence. Inhumane intelligence, basically. I kinda like Misa's smartness more because it's something you find more commonly in real life, you know?
I've known a lot of people who are ditzy and chat about inane things, but are crazily competent when it's time to get serious. I see Misa like this (and um, Tamaki from Ouran 8D).
