Taggart, my brother's band, took a hiatus this summer when the bassist had a baby but they're back! They're playing a really special show at the North Star. There's a band you may or may not have heard of called Superchunk. While Taggart has many influences, Superchunk is the biggest one. At their next show they're opening for Portatastic, which is

That is so awesome! I can't believe they're playing a gig with a Superchunk side project.

I know! How cool is that? And Superchunk is, collectively, their favorite band so that makes it extra cool for them. :)
