Yikes.

I had that same paranoia when they were repairing my roof at work. I was sure I was going to be in the middle of some phone call and the whole ceiling would come down on my head.

I actually let out one of those eeekamouse!-type screams when there was a loud and sudden bang....

Yikes indeed. That sounds scary. Fortunately our guys didn't make any loud and sudden bangs. Loud and sustained or sudden and not-so-loud. :P
