Someone I know (who wishes to remain anonymous for safety) has just published a memoir about growing up in Lebanon during the war against the Syrian occupation in the 80's.

I checked this out online and it really looks interesting. From her excerpts, it looks it's going to be a great read. I wanted to stick it on my Barnes and Noble wish list, but it's not available on that site yet.

I'll definitely get it at some point once I finish the million books I have stacked up.......

Lulu.com is a self-publishing site. I wouldn't expect to see the book in B&N unless it really takes off. I hope it does. :)
